無論係唔係大BAND 都應該係咁
至少無失望, 仲可能有驚喜
大概比左錢, 心理總要覺得收返d 野的心態
幾難改...


好耐無睇SHOW, 連睇兩個SHOW, 黎緊應該都會睇多d, 留意多d 睇下有乜BAND 有potential, 橫豎都係幾十蚊仲有野飲, 輕輕鬆鬆幾好呢.


LIVEHOUSE METAL SHOW?......或者聽得EXTREME/怪雞亂泥/Jazz 野多, 聽完都到喉唔到肺, 但一睇LAN KWAI FONG LIVE就發覺原來真係好METAL, ; 去LIVEHOUSE, 對我來講, 係先天不足, 無酒無得坐, o個日如果唔係下午訓左覺, 我呢個未老先衰真係企都企到周身痛死咁劑(橫豎大部份都係一椂木, 你比我un 幾野坐一陣都好丫, 相比之下, LAN KWAI FONG LIVE間HARVEST MENU 無得坐都有得飲, 人又多又迫, 好多唔係鬼仔都鬼聲鬼氣, 氣氛好好多, 又有個窗仔吹吹風, 望下樓下老蘭d 人, 又多女(因為無台, 又唔鍾意迫前, 成晚一隊BAND 都睇唔到, 除左最後幾隊隔住個mosh pit 叫做睇到下, 門生個vocal d 台風唔錯), 只有靠聽玩得好唔好, 有女都好過睇住前面一堆木頭/一堆精力等待發洩的mosher.

結論: 7折走左寶 (呢個係LIVE 場{女}觀眾質素報告, 唔係講BAND PERFORMANCE, 入錯post 的請離開, )

Bass 趕唔切泥, 等左一陣, 話玩"電燈膽"又唔玩, 齊人開始, 中規中矩, Thrash 野中慢速, Riff/Rhythm 無乜特別, 幾齊又聽得所有樂器咁, 感覺好少vocal 似佢咁Pantera 咁whilewhile.

Dark Fringe
"Darkness of mood, hate my former selF" 錄自LLNR, 唔好老皮, 恨往之已.
唔係咁好女高音, 唔識評, 但感覺麻麻穏定. 有男女對唱. 無左keyboard, 仲要一邊結他無乜聲, 陰公, 加上原本結他聲set 得已經麻麻, 無陰公.

Zodiac
一聽就知係好勤力, 聲一來set得聽到哂, 二來又齊又Double Lead, 女主音吹得有點吃力, 可惜係幾首iron maiden cover, 得一首自己歌,

鬥牛梗
個名我真係好鍾意, 可惜乜Core 我真係麻麻, 仲要得個搖字, Mosh 友都要話佩服, 基本上聽唔到, 唔緊要, 觀眾high 就得...

今次第一次睇, 個主音台風係幾正, d 歌係衰在choke 位多得劑, 有d 部份狂16分單音, 單看呢點, 係好Post Rock, 所以係Rock 唔係玩Metal (Please refer to "Cliche"). 我都發埋癲撞左兩野.


睇一睇好似死下死下的llnr, 唔覺唔覺香港真係好多BAND, Demo 亦好有水準, 但睇SHOW 的好大部份都係熟人, 唔好聽就係撐場.
問題係乜, 又講比人話我老土.


同場加映聽到膩的Cliche 集 (無論點都好, 有d 野上台唔講就硬係差咁d 野)

This post is not target to anyone but just voicing out my opinions.

Anyway, there are something I want to say.  Since I cannot type Chinese so therefore please bear with me.

Our vocal said something about "rock" not "metal", it's pretty much an inside joke because not too long ago, some people said we aren't metal enough to be called metal, not hardcore enough to be labeled hardcore; and not rock enough to be called rock.  From day one when I started this band, I didn't want it to be label in certain way because I just enjoy good music, be it metal, hardcore, rock or even jazz, blues.  All 5 of us members are into different genre of music, we like to experience and create our very own music.  It's too tiring to tell them what we are.  We like metal riffs, breakdowns, emotional post rock chording, classic rock heavy delay licks.  After all, we just want to play the music we love.

Since I never heard MENSHENG's music nor watched any MENSHENG live, I have no idea and no rights to say you are "metal enough" or not. At least your introduction catches my attention that I believe I can't miss anymore hahaha. However, playing "inside jokes" before serious music fans is no longer a joke. Should I were at the venue just as 戈竹尸 I would definitely have the same thought and response; you think funny, those don't dig not. Heard about the story of IN FLAMES? (though they were not an "inside joke" but probably a real one)

However I am a bit supportive to the recent post of 戈竹尸. One can never beset bold minds.


As for "core this core that", any real ______ bands will always stay ______ in their heart, no matter core, metal, tron, or classical. However this is an era of "If you are not XXXX / do not XXXX don't play / I won't listen". MOST in the crowd only pay you attention when you core-scream or do metalcore/emo style clean singings (oh beautiful female voices are getting big too). And MANY bands even the songs are '80 or old-school have to sing metalcorish, because they KNOW, and are possibly one of those in the crowd. Say so did I after watched a lot, in TRHK, in shows, around, online...thus the hypothesis of "screamo maiden".

Further discussion will reveal brutal truths involving constructive reality which a lot of _____heads won't like or willing to face, hence better off stop by this point before offending more _____heads. I have had enough "enemies" through direct and indirect conversations/actions already.


p.s. (post scriptum) Oh yeah, breakdown is not just for hardcore. Pantera and Metallica also had breakdowns in their music. IMAO, they only inspired breakdown, but not overutilized. It's metalcore/"modern metal" propels it to the level of "why not breakdown" while it's "breakdown or not" 10 to 20 years ago.

p.s. (playing shit) it's surprising you are the first "normal" person to give a "normal" speech in this ridiculous place. Lot of congrats, 'cause we are (oh or only 劉Sir?) just a bunch of mediocremindsfilledloudshittalkingposers you know
